Hi there,

I’m a friendly guy in my mid 60’s with a long history of involvement with Israel.

I’m neither Jewish nor religious (An atheist goy called yes), and have considered myself as a ‘חבר של המדינה שלך’ for more than 45 years.

In 1979 I went as a Kibbutz volunteer and over the next few years had several extended stints in your country.

Other than a few short visits, I’d not spent and extended time in Israel since 1983, that is until earlier in 2025.

Now I’m an ’empty nester’ (my daughter is traveling herself) and have a large property.

I spent three months as a volunteer based in Beer’sheva in 2025.

If you’re an Israeli visitor to Napier (the city) or the region of Hawkes Bay I’m always happy to say Shalom and G’day.

I speak some Hebrew.

I can sometimes offer a ensuite room and a small bedroom, other times floor space for a  couple of nights. I can also offer van / motorhome parking.

Whatever you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch.  if all you’re after is a ride from the airport and a spot to do some washing and some local info, that’s cool too.

There is no cost to my visitors.
